4 Delicious take-away options while staying at the Amsterdam Zuidas

Occasionally we all have our nights where we’re just not in the mood to cook up a meal. Curling up on the couch while watching a movie with a plate of take-out is all we can think of then. For those kinds of nights, we’ve found some restaurants in the Amsterdam Zuid area, where residents can either pick up delicious meals or have them delivered right to their doorstep. All you need to do is to put your meal on a plate and.. ‘Eet smakelijk’!

IL Cavallino 

We’ll start off with this restaurant that serves fingerlickin’ good Italian food. They offer a variety of tasty pasta dishes like seafood linguini to eggplant parmesan, which already sounds like a delight. If you’re a lover of Italian side dishes such as caprese and bruschetta, then there are many options to choose from as well. These are excellent dishes to order if you plan on having a mini get together with a friend. You’re guaranteed to have a meal delicious enough to make this your staple restaurant!

Sushito

Next up we’re going to the east! Or not? Sushito’s roots are spread across the world as the owners are Japanese, Mexican and Hawaiian, respectively. This fusion restaurant offers dishes that are a marriage of these cultures. Their staple dish and namesake is the sushirito, which is all sushi ingredients rolled up in seaweed like a burrito. Th Hawaiian influence is apparent in their poke bowl option and that some of their fish options are marinated. So, if you’re in the mood for an eclectic and tasty meal be sure to check this place out!

Happyhappyjoyjoy South

Now we’re truly going to the east as this restaurants flavor profile makes you feel like you’re in a night market somewhere in southeast Asia. The menu is a fusion of street food dishes you can find in Thailand, Indonesia, China and many more. Their dishes offer a variety of options to match any craving from a fresh and nutty gado-gado salad to a spicy stir-fried pad Thai. You can  be extra adventurous by choosing some specialty Asian beer or Asian soda if you choose to order from them.
