Corporate Housing Factory has been helping expats finding temporary housing in the Netherlands for years. We offer fully furnished serviced apartments in five locations with everything included that makes the difference between a place to sleep and a place to actually live. If you are new here, welcome. Here is what we offer, and why it matters.
If you've used our services, you already know what a Corporate Housing Factory apartment offers. A fully equipped kitchen so your employee can cook a proper meal after a long day. A washer and dryer in the apartment so laundry is not a logistical problem. Weekly cleaning so the apartment stays in good shape without them lifting a finger. A work from home setup — desk, chair, private WiFi — so the working day does not happen from the sofa. All to get them to settle in with ease, and to make them feel at home.
These are the things that make the difference between housing that functions and housing that genuinely supports someone during a relocation. An employee who comes home to a well-equipped, well-maintained apartment settles faster, sleeps better and shows up to the office in better shape than one who is managing a long list of domestic inconveniences on top of an already demanding assignment.
But at three of our properties, there is something else worth knowing about.
At New Amsterdam in Amsterdam, New Orleans in Rotterdam and Hoge Duin in The Hague, your employee does not need to research local gyms, navigate a Dutch-language membership contract or try to fit a commute to a fitness facility into an already full day. The facilities are in the building. They are available from the moment your employee arrives.
For an employee in the middle of a relocation or on a work assignment — having wellbeing facilities in-house is not a small thing. It is a quiet signal to the employee that their company sees them — not just their role, but their wellbeing, their routine, their life outside the office.
Here is exactly what is available at each property:
The New Orleans property includes a fitness room, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and relaxing sundeck within the building. Of all our properties, it offers the most varied wellbeing facilities — giving assignees in Rotterdam access to a full range of options to decompress and recharge after work, without leaving the building.
New Amsterdam, located in the middle of the business heart of Amsterdam, includes access to a private health club within the building — a fully equipped gym, a swimming pool and a sauna.
Hoge Duin includes a gym within the building. It is also CHF's fully climate-neutral property — worth noting for companies with sustainability commitments who want their housing decisions to reflect those values. A well-managed, green building with on-site fitness access.
When you are matching an employee to a CHF property, location and apartment size are usually the primary considerations. That makes sense. But if you know your employee runs every morning, swims three times a week or uses the gym to decompress after work, it is worth factoring in which property gives them that without any additional effort on their part — or yours.
An employee who maintains their physical routine during a relocation is generally a more settled, more focused and more resilient one. That is good for them. It is also good for the assignment.
