Zuidasdok, a project to improve the accessibility of the Zuidas, is in full swing. In the weekend of Friday 29 May to Tuesday 2 June 2020, the demolition of the Brittenpassage is planned.
These activities do have consequences for the accessibility of the area. Below you can see the impact of the construction activities:
For people traveling in public transport this means:
Fewer trains and metros will run. Consult www.9292.nl for more information. The platform entrance from Parnassusweg is closed. Amsterdam Zuid station is only accessible via the Minerva Passage.
For the car, bicycle and pedestrian this means:
The east side of the Parnassusweg (towards the center) will be completely closed at several moments:
• From Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 May (01:00 am to 05:00 am).
• From Thursday May 28 (22:00 pm) to Tuesday morning June 2 (05:00 am).
• From Tuesday 2 June to Wednesday 3 June (01:00 am to 05:00 am).
During the closure, car traffic will be diverted via Boelelaan, Beethovenstraat and Strawinskylaan. Cyclists and pedestrians are diverted via the west side of the Parnassusweg.
